MEET OUR TEAM
All of us working at Happy Niños have passed an enhanced DBS check, have detailed knowledge and training on Safeguarding and preventing harm to children at a young age; the Early Years Foundation Framework; have Food Safety and First Aid Qualifications as the safety of all children is very stringent within our setting. Our staff have completed NSPCC training on Safer Recruitment in Education and all our staff undergo a detailed induction period and regularly attend training courses (provided internally and externally by the local authority and other external providers). This helps us to develop and share knowledge and skills and provide the best and safest care to your little one.
Kerris
Nursery Manager
My name is Kerris and I am the Nursery Manager. I have been in childcare for over 12 years starting as an apprentice before completing both level 2 & 3 in childcare. I progressed becoming a room leader and worked my way up to 3rd in charge, deputy manager and then manager. My vision for Happy Niños is to have a home from home for your child where they can be surrounded with love and comfort, have quality focused activities individually designed for each child to grow and meet developmental milestones. In my spare time I love to read, never seen without my kindle or a book in hand. I also love to spend time with my family, going to theme parks and the zoo.
Cassie
Senior Nursery Practitioner
My name is Cassie and I am a senior nursery practitioner. I have been in
childcare for 10 years. I started as an apprentice and worked my way up to
room leader. I also spent some time being a nanny. I love working with
children because I like to provide them with a fun, safe, stimulating
environment to help them achieve their milestones. In my spare time I like
to watch and attend football games and making costumes.
Hajra
Deputy Manager
My name is Hajra and I am the deputy manager. I have been in childcare for
10 years. I started as a level 3 practitioner and worked my way up to room
leader, third in charge and deputy.
My vision in childcare is to be able to
see children learn, develop, and grow and knowing that I can be a part of
that makes me very happy. In my spare time I love to bake as well as
explore arts and crafts.

Senior Nursery Practitioner
My name is Bianca, and I am a senior nursery practitioner. I have been in
childcare for 3 years. I enjoy working as a Nursery Practitioner because it
allows me to be a part of children’s personal growth, and help them achieve
all their goals, while also ensuring they get ready for school when the
time comes.

Senior Nursery Practitioner
My name is Irina and I am a senior nursery practitioner. I have been in
childcare for 3 years. I started as an apprentice after working as a nanny
and discovering my enjoyment of working with children.
I enjoy watching
children to develop and grow with confidence, improving their personal and
social skills by providing fun and stimulating activities.

Nursery Assistant
My name is Hamida and I am a nursery assistant. I have been in childcare
for over 7 years working in both schools and nurseries. I love to create
activities for children and watch them grow and develop. In my spare time I
love to spend time with my family and friends. I also love to go shopping.
